Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our NICU team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a NICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work in a supportive team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.
Responsibilities- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- One year NICU level 2 or 3 experience preferred
- Mom Baby experience and transition experience preferred

Pay and ShiftThe pay range for this position is $33.15/Hr. to $57.93/Hr. The shift for this position is Nights, with 7 Nights, 2 weekend shifts in 6 weeks, 5 shifts of availability in a 6 week period, 1 major and 1 minor holidays, rotating.
About Our NICUWe have a 5 bed level 2 NICU, with a team of experienced nurses who provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families. Our unit is unique because all of our NICU nurses function in the transition and postpartum role, allowing for a very cohesive and close team. We staff two NICU RNs on every shift, with a typical NICU assignment of 1-3 babies per nurse.
