**Job Title:** Male Registered Behavior Specialist

**Job Type:** Contract Position

**Job Description:**

**Responsibilities:**
  • Provide behavioral support services to students in a special education classroom or 1:1 setting.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students with mild, moderate, or severe behaviors, including Autism Spectrum Students, Non-Verbal, ADHD, and Elopers.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and provide physical support as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
**Requirements:**
  • Active IL RBT certification from the BACB.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Behavior Specialist.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting.
  • CPI training required.
