Tate Engineering Systems INC is seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing operational problems with boiler controls and accessories.
Key Responsibilities- Boiler Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Installation and Upgrades: Install new boiler systems and perform upgrades to existing systems, including gas conversion and parallel positioning controls.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, and testing boiler systems to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair boiler equipment and systems to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including responding to service requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of time, labor, and materials used for all work performed, as well as logs of tasks completed.
- Training and Development: Assist in training less experienced personnel and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to all Tate Safety Protocols at all times, prioritizing safety and well-being in the workplace.
- Business Acumen: Conduct business in accordance with Tate Core Values, promoting a culture of teamwork and harmony with all departments.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills, including knowledge of boiler systems, controls, and accessories, as well as proficiency in vendor software and equipment.
- Time Management: Demonstrate strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
