Unit Summary:The Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Hospital is a 40-bed unit that provides medical and surgical care, as well as telemetry services. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chest pain, syncope, heart failure, stroke, and GI bleeds.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide medical and surgical care to patients on the Progressive Care Unit
- Function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families
- Work under the direct supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
- Bachelor's of Nursing preferred from CCNE accredited schools
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification
