Job Summary

Procon Consulting is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects across Southern Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, with a strong background in historic preservation, design/build, architecture, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning, and occupancy.
  • Support the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements and ensure alignment with project work plans and deadlines.
  • Monitor on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance.
  • Coordinate and monitor the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle.
  • Oversee project design or construction efforts, including risk management, security, and safety compliance.
  • Assist the Contracting Officer and COR with acquisition planning, technical reviews, execution, and administration.
  • Provide project management support, ensuring compliance with all directives and applicable standards, including records management.
  • Offer technical support to customers, manage electronic documents, and serve as a liaison for other customer groups related to projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a construction, architecture, or engineering-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on historic preservation and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Experience with occupied building renovations, Federal, and MEP projects is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to analyze project-related information and communicate project status and major issues.
  • Fluent in project management principles and the ability to implement them.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, as well as contract terms and conditions.
