About the Opportunity
We are working with Weatherby Healthcare to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD for a locum tenens position in a busy OB clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in delivering babies and performing C-sections.
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients
- Deliver babies and perform C-sections
- Conduct routine gynecologic exams and procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications as needed
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Active state medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology
- Experience in delivering babies and performing C-sections
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
