Position Overview:
Manage a patient load of 18-25 individuals daily, dedicating 40 minutes for initial consultations and annual wellness evaluations, and 20 minutes for follow-up appointments.
Focus primarily on adult patients aged 50 and above, with a limited number of younger patients. Pediatric care is not included.
Emphasize preventative healthcare within a capitated HMO framework, catering to Original Medicare beneficiaries.
This role is entirely outpatient with no on-call responsibilities.
Utilize eClinicalWorks as the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
Possession of an unrestricted Texas State Medical License is mandatory.
A current Texas DEA certificate is required prior to commencement.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is essential.
