Shift Details: Day shifts, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Job RequirementsApplicants must provide their Washington state license status: Active, In Process, or No License. If the status is 'In Process', please include the application date and estimated issue date.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-acuity and fast-paced environment is required, with at least 3 years of direct experience. First-time travelers will not be considered.
Pre-approved time off will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend and on holidays as needed.
Floating to Postpartum/Antepartum units may be required, as well as potential floating to affiliated facilities that handle Maternal and Baby care.
Experience with midwifery clients, private OBs, and Adult Recovery Services is advantageous. Familiarity with community care clinics is also beneficial.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic fetal monitoring
- Ability to function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and provide ongoing care for newborns until transfer to postpartum
- Experience in circulating during procedures
- Knowledge of administering Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
Important Note: Candidates must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, including administering eye drops and Vitamin K injections, as well as conducting newborn assessments. Those lacking these essential skills will not be considered.
