Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, ensuring effective resource management.
- Uphold the service and courtesy standards of Wellstreet GA, PC by consistently achieving high patient satisfaction.
- Provide care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff, ensuring clear communication and support.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all services provided.
- Complete necessary documentation to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
- Engage in meetings and activities that support the operations of the urgent care facility.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain required certifications.
- Report directly to the Regional Medical Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the relevant state.
- Current DEA registration.
- Experience with medical procedures such as suturing and abscess drainage.
- Ability to interpret diagnostic studies, including x-rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (available if needed).
- Meets credentialing eligibility requirements set by Wellstreet GA, PC.
- Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
