Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve automation equipment failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain and repair automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of manufacturing/automation parts.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • Source and requisition necessary spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime.
  • Support the installation of new equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide training and guidance to operators on the standard operation of automation systems, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruptions.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by maintaining a clean and organized appearance of automation systems, the workshop, and the production floor.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Technical education in mechanical or electrical fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of automation systems and equipment.
