Job Summary

This role involves setting up and operating laser and punch presses in the fabrication department to complete orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate brake presses, shears, punch presses, strippit, and laser machines, developing programs for part fabrication as needed.
  • Set up and operate machines safely, adhering to relevant safety protocols.
  • Apply shop mathematics, read mechanical blueprints, and use measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and managers to achieve quality standards.
  • Train and mentor others in machine operation and fabrication techniques.
  • Drive forklifts safely and responsibly, following company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Meet quality standards in work areas and strive for continuous improvement in efficiency.
  • Notify managers of quality deviations and collaborate on corrective actions.
