Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at The Goddard School of Edina, MN. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
  • Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associate (CDA), or related field preferred or meet state licensing requirements with college credits.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience required.
  • Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
  • Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
  • Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Meets background check eligibility.
