Job Title: Perinatal Ultrasonographer

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Perinatal Ultrasonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to evaluate fetal development in multiple and high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to evaluate fetal development
  • Monitor and evaluate exam quality and procedures
  • Check and complete patient name bands, physician orders, consent forms, and prescriptions
  • Follow department/hospital infection control guidelines
  • Explain procedures to patients prior to exams
  • Assure physical and psychological patient needs are met
  • Initiate proper response to emergent patient medical devices
  • Submit completed safety tests by scheduled deadline with 100% score
  • Practice proper body mechanics 100% of the time
  • Report and correct observed safety hazards
Requirements:
  • Completion of an appropriate educational program
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
  • Meets the licensure requirement for specialty (ARDMS Qualified)
  • Fetal Echo Certification is highly desirable
