Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Entertainment Operations Manager to join our team at Princess Cruises. As a key member of our entertainment operations, you will be responsible for providing technical, production, and special project support for shipboard and shoreside operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of broadcast equipment and exceptional teaching skills to train others in the technical and creative uses of equipment. They will also support the Entertainment team for technical and creative purposes, including dry docks and new builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high production value across the fleet while upholding standards, supporting content production and playback for Guest and Teammates TV, collaborating with onboard management to identify broadcast support improvements, and coordinating with theater teams to maintain broadcast equipment in alternative entertainment spaces.
  • Act as a liaison between the Senior Manager of Entertainment Broadcast Media and vendors/technical staff during projects, managing vendor-supplied content implementation for revenue areas or assisting Revenue Partner teams in creating compliant commercial content.
  • Direct, coach, support, supervise, and evaluate the job performance of Broadcast Managers and Operators, train and support enhancements of video shoot setups, and make recommendations for promotion and development of Broadcast Managers.
  • Manage financial responsibilities including budget, expenses, and revenue targets, cost containment through proper use, handling, and maintenance of records, reports, software, supplies, and equipment, and maintaining accurate records and submissions pertaining to company corporate cards used for traveling expenses.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including comfortable single cabin accommodations, meals, exceptional amenities, and extensive learning and recreational programs available to all teammates.
