Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
  • Provide patient care activities within the limits of the position, adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist with patient care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
  • Document patient care activities and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support services.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • None required, but a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
