Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers meals that are visually appealing and enjoyable to our residents in a timely manner.
  • Follows established portion control guidelines when serving food.
  • Participates in routine cleaning tasks as per established protocols.
  • Ensures cleanliness of tables, food preparation areas, and storage units.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of floors through sweeping and mopping as needed.
  • Transports dirty utensils to the washing area.
  • Returns sanitized utensils to their designated storage locations.
  • Washes and sanitizes kitchenware as instructed.
  • Keeps workspaces tidy, dry, and free from hazards.
  • Prepares meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as directed.
  • Assists the cook in meal preparation and gathering necessary food supplies for upcoming meals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating an industrial dishwasher and understanding kitchen sanitation processes is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Ability to read and comprehend resident meal cards is essential.
  • Physical capability to lift and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a height of three (3) feet and transport such weight over a distance of twelve (12) feet.
