Aircraft Deicer Job Description

Integrated Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Aircraft Deicer to join our team. As an Aircraft Deicer, you will be responsible for removing ice from aircraft to ensure safe takeoff and landing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination
  • Apply deicing fluid to aircraft using specialized equipment
  • Ensure a safe environment during de/anti-icing operations
  • Participate in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events
  • Perform equipment checks and maintenance
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training
Work Environment:

Prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noise. Must be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at heights in excess of 15 ft.
