Worship Leader

Creative Church is seeking a skilled Worship Leader to oversee volunteer worship teams at multiple services, campuses, and age groups. This role involves leading engaging worship experiences, collaborating with the pastoral team, and recruiting and developing a team of volunteer musicians and vocalists.

• Worship Experience Leadership
  • Lead and facilitate worship experiences during church services and special events.
  • Collaborate with the pastoral team to plan and coordinate worship services.
  • Recruit, develop, and shepherd a team of volunteer worship band members and vocalists.
• Team Development and Support
  • Provide direction and support to the worship team, including scheduling rehearsals and coordinating music selections.
  • Cultivate a culture of worship and spiritual growth within the worship team and congregation.
• Technical and Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize worship equipment, instruments, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright laws and licensing for music and media used in worship.
• Pastoral Care and Leadership
  • Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership to the worship team, supporting their personal, spiritual, and musical growth.
  • Train and equip worship team members in musical skills, spiritual development, and stage presence.
  Requirements
  • Mature and ongoing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a consistent prayer/devotional life.
  • Ability to lead worship from piano and/or guitar.
  • Strong vocal abilities and an understanding of vocal dynamics.
  • Deep knowledge and appreciation of various worship music genres and styles.
  • Excellent musical skills, including the ability to read music and arrange songs.
  • Experience in leading and directing a worship band and vocalists.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of worship, including sound systems, lighting, and multimedia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and connect with the congregation.
  • Demonstrate a humble and teachable spirit, receptive to feedback and growth and adaptation to the culture of the house.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Well-organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to fully embrace the vision, values, and statement of faith of Creative Church.
