Route Floater Job Description

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time. As a trusted food service company, we provide comprehensive services with a focus on quality, freshness, and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all necessary products for client locations
  • Transport products and food to client locations, delivering, loading, and unloading as requested
  • Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers, maintaining refrigeration of cold food products
  • Oversee merchandise ordering and control inventory, collecting unsold and stale merchandise
  • Collect money from machines, communicate positively with customers, and perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
  • Manage the care of the company vehicle, adhering to safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record, ability to pass the DOT Physical
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, outgoing personality, and excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members, work independently, and utilize time efficiently
