Overview:

MRG Exams is a leading provider of independent medical exams for various industries, including worker's compensation and veterans affairs. We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team as a Veterans Assessment Specialist.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive medical assessments for U.S. veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and performing in-person assessments on each veteran. Additionally, you will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal. It is essential to note that you will not make disability determinations, as this responsibility lies with the U.S. Veterans Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for U.S. veterans
  • Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal
  • Perform in-person assessments on each veteran
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal
  • Do not make disability determinations

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school and hold an active and unrestricted psychology license. You must also meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
