About the Role: As a senior solutions architect, you will collaborate with a team of architects throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle. This includes requirements gathering, conceptualization, detailed design, software development, and application deployment. You will play a crucial role in defining and articulating a cohesive technical and architectural strategy across various domains and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive repository of technical component models for our product lines.
- Documenting technical solutions and identifying key opportunities within the financial services sector.
- Curating a library of reusable technical application components relevant to our applications and product offerings.
- Aligning architectural frameworks with business strategies while implementing modern technological practices.
- Advocating for contemporary technical and DevOps methodologies.
- Providing architectural guidance as products transition from legacy systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in conveying the benefits of innovative IT strategies.
- Highly technical with hands-on experience.
- Able to provide foundational code to development teams.
- Capable of creating and owning technical designs.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (preferably Azure or AWS).
- A generalist approach is essential, as this role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with open-source cloud-native tools (5 years).
- Practical experience managing large datasets (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).
- Experience with Angular, Java, JavaScript, SAML, and Restful APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Domain knowledge of I-Series and RPG is highly advantageous.
