Container Truck Operator

Position Overview

Veteran Hauling Services LLC is seeking a dedicated full-time container truck operator. Overtime is a standard expectation for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating roll-off trucks efficiently and safely.


Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is essential.
  • Immediate availability for employment is required.
  • Prior experience with roll-off trucks is mandatory.
  • A valid CDL is necessary.
  • Current DOT Medical certification is required.
  • Pre-employment and random drug screenings will be conducted. A background check will also be performed, along with a review of driving history.

Work Schedule:

Availability to commence work between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM on weekdays is expected.


Compensation Package:

The pay rate ranges from $33 to $35 per hour, with additional compensation for overtime hours worked. Weekend shifts automatically qualify for overtime pay. Overtime is compensated after 40 hours of work during the week.

Upon completion of the first year, a quarterly bonus of $500 will be awarded for maintaining accident-free operations, with the potential for growth over time. Note that any accidents will reset the bonus eligibility and may result in forfeiture for the current and subsequent quarters.

One week of paid vacation is available in the following year, with no vacation permitted during the initial four months. Two weeks of vacation will be granted in subsequent years, subject to performance review after three full calendar years.

This position is classified as an independent contractor role, and health benefits are not included.
