Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framing Manager to lead our framing team and drive custom framing sales. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality custom framing solutions to our customers, while also coaching and developing the skills of our framing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the framing team to achieve sales and production goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive custom framing sales and increase customer satisfaction
  • Coach and train team members on framing techniques, sales skills, and customer service
  • Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Partner with the Store Manager to achieve store goals and objectives
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Participate in performance management activities and talent development initiatives
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
  • Previous custom framing experience and retail management experience preferred
  • Leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment

This role is based in a public retail store setting, with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings. The role also involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes and frames, and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
