Per Diem Nursing Opportunity at Trinity Health FirstChoice

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Nurse to join our team at Trinity Health FirstChoice. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

This Per Diem Nurse position is a great opportunity for nurses who want to work on a flexible schedule and have the ability to choose from a variety of assignments. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will work on a part-time basis, providing care to patients in our Med Surg / Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the Med Surg / Telemetry unit
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
  • Contribute to the success of our organization by providing excellent patient care and service
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Nursing License in the state where working
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of 18 months – 2 years of recent clinical experience in the area in which you work
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
  • Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of the job description
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health
