We are seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team at FIRST RF. As an RF Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of advanced RF systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop RF systems, including phased-array systems, millimeter wave active antennas, and advanced signal detection technologies.
- Investigate customer needs and develop prototypes to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
- Conduct RF signal budget analysis and troubleshoot system issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree a plus).
- Experience with RF devices and networks, including amplifiers, attenuators, phase shifters, and mixers.
- Strong analytical and hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in a technical programming language, such as Matlab or Python.
- Proficiency with RF test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with printed circuit board layout and assembly.
- Past experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and board layout.
- Previous experience with front-end design for radar or software-defined radios (SDR).
- Prior experience with antenna design and testing.
- Past experience with electromagnetic simulation tools, such as HFSS, FEKO, CST, or Microwave Office.
