Senior Biologist

About the Job
We are seeking a Senior Biologist to join our team at GSK, where you will be responsible for designing and implementing structural biology research projects to support vaccine development. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading biopharmaceutical company and contribute to the development of innovative vaccines that address pressing global health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop design strategies, screening funnels, and other mechanistic studies to support vaccine or medicine lead identification, validation, and progression
* Collaborate with protein production, molecular design, and biophysics teams to design new constructs and mutants based on structural analysis
* Conduct advanced research and experiments utilizing techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM)

About You
* PhD in a structural biology related field with a focus on protein crystallography
* 3+ years of experience in macromolecular crystallography, including principles and techniques used in the field
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Estimated annual salary: $130,000 - $165,000 depending on location and experience
