Position Overview:


We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to contribute to our healthcare services within a correctional environment. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by medical professionals.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in patient evaluations and collaborate in the development of individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to wound management, catheterization, and injections.
  • Work in conjunction with other healthcare staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding medical procedures, medication regimens, and self-care practices.
  • Maintain precise and current medical documentation.
  • Follow infection control guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an LPN in a clinical setting.
  • Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois.

Compensation:

$2,200 weekly gross based on a standard 40-hour workweek.

Hourly Breakdown:
$37.45 (non-taxed)
$17.55 (taxed)
$55/hr (Blended)

Shift Schedule:
7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, including every other weekend.
