Job Overview
The StaffEZ team is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to provide educational support in Union County Schools, Tennessee. This role involves instructing students, creating a positive learning environment, and managing classroom activities.

Compensation: $90 per day for certified teachers with a teaching license, $75 per day for high school graduates or higher.

Key Responsibilities
• Report to the office upon arrival, check out at the end of the day
• Meet and instruct assigned classes as specified by the school administration
• Create a conducive learning environment that fosters student growth
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities
• Supervise and guide students, teacher aids, and volunteers
• Utilize personal judgment and discretion in supervising classes
• Assist students with their work as needed
• Document any discrepancies that occur during the day
• Follow lesson plans and make relevant notations
• Be prepared to assist in other classrooms during prep hours or breaks
• Maintain respect and fairness towards all students and staff

Requirements
• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, or hold a valid teaching certificate
• Completion of the required Global Compliance Network training modules
• Demonstrated strong attendance and punctuality record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely in oral and written communication
• Meet criminal history background requirements

Work Environment
This position requires standing/walking for extended periods, occasional climbing of steps, and ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels. Depending on assignment, may involve more physical activity, such as Physical Education classes or special education assignments.
