Dietary Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Assistant to join our team at Fern Park Developmental Center. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals served to our residents.
  • Demonstrate proper storage, handling, and preparation of food.
  • Perform dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties.
  • Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
  • Assist in proper care, use, and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
  • Work well with others in a team environment.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience in a health care facility or restaurant.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be willing to pass a Level 2 background and drug screening.
  • Able to work weekends/holidays.
