Lead Educator Position

Georgia Mountains YMCA is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can create engaging learning experiences for young children, promote social-emotional growth, and establish strong partnerships with parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, incorporating the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards.
- Supervise and support staff members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to program evaluations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, ensuring alignment with YMCA values and goals.
- Engage with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and volunteer opportunities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age or older.
- Meet Bright From the Start educational requirements.
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting, preferably in a YMCA or similar organization.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move around the facility as needed.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year,
Location: Georgia Mountains Region,
