Job Overview:
Georgia Mountains YMCA is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can create engaging learning experiences for young children, promote social-emotional growth, and establish strong partnerships with parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, incorporating the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards.
  2. Supervise and support staff members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
  3. Maintain accurate records, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to program evaluations.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, ensuring alignment with YMCA values and goals.
  5. Engage with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and volunteer opportunities.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age or older.
  • Meet Bright From the Start educational requirements.
  • Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting, preferably in a YMCA or similar organization.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move around the facility as needed.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year,
Location: Georgia Mountains Region,
