Job Title: IT SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to support our team at Four Star Freightliner. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our networking platform, troubleshooting network and system issues, and monitoring active network and server infrastructure.Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and system issues, using your analytical skills to identify and resolve problems.
  • Monitor and analyze network and server performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Administer network security measures, protecting our systems from interruptions and breaches.
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures, ensuring business continuity.
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides, providing clear instructions for team members.
  • Develop and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions for complex technical processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with a ability to analyze complex problems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for associates or higher.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Apple products (iPads, MacBook, Mac).
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows and Apple hardware and software.
  • 2+ years of experience working as an IT helpdesk technician or in a similar customer support role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a ability to think critically.
