Job Title: IT SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to support our team at Four Star Freightliner. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our networking platform, troubleshooting network and system issues, and monitoring active network and server infrastructure.Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot complex network and system issues, using your analytical skills to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor and analyze network and server performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Administer network security measures, protecting our systems from interruptions and breaches.
- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures, ensuring business continuity.
- Document all technical procedures and user guides, providing clear instructions for team members.
- Develop and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions for complex technical processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing timely and accurate information.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Previous experience as a network or systems administrator.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deadline and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with a ability to analyze complex problems.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for associates or higher.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- 2+ years of experience working with Apple products (iPads, MacBook, Mac).
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows and Apple hardware and software.
- 2+ years of experience working as an IT helpdesk technician or in a similar customer support role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a ability to think critically.
