Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Clinic team at Willis-Knighton Health System.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, critical thinking, and organizational skills, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology Clinic, you will provide leadership in coordinating patient care, assist with preauthorization, scheduling patient procedures, and surgery. You will also be responsible for medication management and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients systematically, utilizing professional standards of nursing practice, and assist physicians in patient care and response to nursing intervention.
  • Provide assistance with all procedures, including medication management and reconciliation.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana.
  • Experience in cardiology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
