Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive multipoint inspections of vehicles
  • Communicate any additional service or repair requirements to service advisors
  • Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using appropriate tools
  • Check and maintain fluid levels in various vehicle systems
  • Monitor and adjust tire pressure as needed
  • Apply specified lubricants to moving components
  • Drain and refill engine oil as required
  • Top off fluids in the radiator and battery
  • Replace oil and air filters
  • Inspect vehicles for potential repairs
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize exposure to hazardous materials
Compensation

Qualifications
  • Must meet the dealership's employment criteria
  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions
  • Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance processes
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual vehicles
  • Previous experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Occasional exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Ability to operate a vehicle
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stooping
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Significant walking and standing may be required, along with operating controls for extended periods
