Job Title: Network Systems Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with our Starlink satellite constellation. As a Network Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and operating the system that brings fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SpaceX engineers and the Legal and Market Access teams to develop country-specific solutions for lawful intercept, content filtering, and data requests.
  • Manage the entire software lifecycle, from planning to provisioning and deployment.
  • Oversee multiple projects, communicate with international authorities, and perform as a subject matter expert for Lawful Intercept within the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline and +2 years of professional experience with networking, software, or technical program management.
  • Experience working with network products, including internet, telecommunications, IT networking, data centers, and points of presence.
  • Ownership of a complex technical project involving numerous stakeholders from conception to customer acceptance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Scripting experience with Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience with industry certification and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel internationally as necessary.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical milestones.
  • Must be available for on-call rotations.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
