Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical, optical, and electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical, optical, and electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures.
  • Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Complete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteria.
  • Perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conduct functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals.
  • Report deviations from standard to appropriate resources for review, instruction, and authorization.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
  • Apply basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
  • Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives.
  • Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency at completing 1-3 different operations within a work cell.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions on a screen/monitor.
  • Basic work experience in assembly with smaller parts.
