Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on medication use and health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical guidelines, medications, and technologies to provide the highest level of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding and expectations.
Requirements
  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
