Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under the direction of a physician.
  • Conduct various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital.
  • Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys.
  • Function as Shift Leader or serve in the capacity of Team Leader.
  • Perform advanced practice skills, including therapeutic gas management and monitoring, pulmonary function testing, and bronchoscopy assist.
Requirements
  • RT or RCP License in state of employment required.
  • BLS required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
