Position Overview
- 1 Physician required from 7am to 7pm; Tele-Hospitalist coverage from 7pm to 7am.
- Must be located within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for night call duties.
- Average patient census: 8-18.
- 12-hour shifts; 7am to 7pm.
- 7 on / 7 off work schedule.
- Open ICU environment.
- Required procedures include:
- Endotracheal Intubation.
- Central Venous Line Insertion.
- Early Mechanical Ventilation Management.
- Arterial Line Insertion.
- In-house services available: Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, and ENT.
- Electronic Medical Record system: Medhost.
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- A minimum of 1 year of Hospital Medicine Leadership Experience is required.
Navarro Regional Hospital serves as a community healthcare provider, featuring a 162-bed acute care facility that offers both inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, and comprehensive emergency, medical, and surgical care. The facility is recognized with an accredited Chest Pain Center and holds Advanced Primary Stroke certification. Our team of healthcare professionals provides a range of services, including a cardiac rehabilitation outpatient surgery center, 3D mammography, and a 16-slice CT scanner equipped with the latest diagnostic technology.
