Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Scientist - Radiochemistry to join our team at Direct Kinetic Solutions Inc. As a key member of our research and development team, you will lead and execute research and development for the foundational components of our innovative power sources. Your responsibilities will include transferring technology from the lab bench to production, designing manufacturing processes adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and driving the growth of our lab facilities. You will be the owner of experimentation planning and execution as well as chemistry documentation. Must be comfortable working in a radiological laboratory environment, including glove box experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must. The position requires in-person work 4 days a week at our Radiation Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and must be a US Citizen.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Laboratory Skills, GMP, and Technology Transfer
  • Experience in Radiochemistry and Nuclear Engineering
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field, PhD preferred
  • Experience working with radioisotopes and high radioactivity materials is a plus
