Bristol Myers Squibb is redefining the boundaries of cell therapy, and we're looking for a talented Senior Associate Scientist to join our team.

In this exciting role, you'll work in a collaborative environment to perform analytics testing, supporting multiple BMS programs. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values data quality, high productivity, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute routine analytical testing, including qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, molecular biology, and cell-based assays.
  • Develop and implement multiplexed cell-based assays, such as killing assays, mixed lymphocyte reactions, and proliferation assays.
  • Analyze and report data with a focus on fast and high-quality data turnaround.
  • Partner with Method Development groups to support assay development, qualification, and transfer.
  • Develop processes and methods to improve lab execution and data analysis efficiency.
  • Document and complete electronic laboratory notebooks in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results.
  • Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BS in a scientific discipline with 3+ years (1+ years with MS) of relevant industrial cell-based assay experience.
  • Strong knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Experience with qPCR, ddPCR, and Vector work.
  • Ability to work in a self-driven, performance/results-oriented, fast-paced matrix environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Working knowledge of statistical software (R, JMP, Minitab) is preferred.
  • Ability to creatively manage time and elevate relevant issues to Manager.
  • Strong scientific and technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating offset shifts (early morning, evening, and/or weekend shifts).

The starting compensation for this role is a range from $82,000 - $102,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
