Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our project execution team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning and startup of microgrid and BESS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient execution plans in collaboration with project engineering
  • Participate in factory testing and system commissioning activities
  • Develop and implement proactive services responsive to customer requirements
  • Coordinate investigations of customer-reported issues and assist in achieving equitable solutions
  • Travel extensively within North America to support project execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with relevant experience in power generation control systems, power systems engineering, power electronics, and/or energy storage system design
  • High level of technical aptitude in electrical engineering and industrial software technologies
  • Sound knowledge and experience in industrial, power generation, or distribution environments
  • SCADA system design and engineering experience a plus
  • Ability to develop understanding of power automation and/or power generation systems
