Warehouse Operations Manager

US Foods is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our night shift operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient warehouse environment, where our associates can thrive and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve accurate orders, stage, and load trucks in a timely manner.
- Oversee the preparation of the warehouse for shipping or receiving on the next shift, ensuring product is stocked in the correct location and following food safety and FIFO processes.
- Monitor operational information, such as mis-picks and productivity reports, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the operations management team to identify sources of inventory shrink and develop action plans to minimize losses.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA and HACCP, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance associate skills and knowledge.
- Manage physical inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- HACCP certification.
- PCQI certification.
The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
This is a full-time position, with 10% travel required for mandatory meetings and/or training.
