Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare function rooms prior to set-up, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Set equipment to daily work sheet specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide required amenities, as dictated by resort standards, to create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks, maintaining a high level of service and hospitality.
  • Break down meeting rooms as soon as possible after the end of the function, ensuring efficient use of space.
  • Complete special projects as directed by department management or supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Move conferences material boxes, programs, and other items from resort receiving docks, registration areas, guest rooms, or suites, as needed.
  • Care for equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly maintained.
  • Accommodate special customer needs, such as hanging banners for meetings and food/beverage functions, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
  • Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to ensure accurate and timely execution of events.
  • Install and remove air walls (if applicable), as required.
  • Break down service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Perform other reasonable requests of management, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move equipment, as needed.
