Job Description

As a Tax Manager at CATSearch HR Consultancy Inc., you will be responsible for preparing and filing federal and state tax forms for businesses and individuals. You will manage a variety of clients, offer tax planning and guidance, and participate in research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff involved in preparing tax returns
  • Manage relationships with clients and staff
  • Prepare and review business and individual tax returns
  • Provide tax planning and projections for clients
  • Research tax issues and suggest improvements
  • Stay current on tax law changes through reading and attending seminars
  • Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and tax obligations
  • Respond promptly to client calls and emails
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the team
  • Handle other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • EA certification necessary; CPA preferred (JD candidates welcome)
  • At least 8 busy seasons of experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
