Job Title: Lead Baker Job Summary: As a Lead Baker at Whole Foods Market, you will be responsible for leading a team of bakers in the production of high-quality bread and bakery products. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and that the team is working efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Lead a team of bakers in the production of bread and bakery products * Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards * Develop and implement production schedules and plans * Train and mentor new team members * Maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements: * 14+ months retail experience * Ability to lift 50 pounds * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong leadership and communication skills * Basic math skills for recipe conversions and modifications Working Conditions: * Must be able to lift 50 pounds * In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours * Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling * Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching Equal Employment Opportunity: Whole Foods Market is an equal opportunity employer.
