Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with management to forecast and fulfill the staffing needs of The Pictsweet Company, ensuring the organization attracts top-tier talent. This role involves leveraging various tools to identify and engage with qualified candidates while fostering relationships with potential hires.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle to achieve diverse staffing objectives. Design and execute strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview panels to ensure clarity in job requirements and proper candidate evaluation.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • Engage in staffing-related initiatives and participate in cross-departmental projects, including updating job descriptions.
  • Oversee the recruitment efforts for external salaried roles, including professionals, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Coordinate and participate in college career fairs and campus recruitment events to promote The Pictsweet employment brand among students.
  • Conduct pre-screening of applicants, gathering essential information regarding their qualifications, skills, and salary expectations. This may involve initial phone screenings or in-person meetings to assess fit.
  • Facilitate candidate offer processes, including salary recommendations, feedback from interview teams, and psychological assessments. Extend verbal offers, draft offer letters, and manage onboarding logistics.
  • Serve as the primary contact for onboarding processes and scheduling necessary appointments.
  • Perform additional HR-related tasks as directed by the Human Resources Vice President.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred experience of three or more years in staffing or recruitment, with a solid understanding of recruiting across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and interviewing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and candidate sourcing technologies.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
