Description
LewisGale Medical Center, a part of HCA Capital Division, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Operating Room position. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values.
- Document patient information accurately and timely according to organizational policy.
- Delegates tasks to other health team members, ensuring they have the knowledge and skill to perform the task.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse License issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS, Basic Life Support Certification from an approved agency.
- PALS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialty certification from a national accrediting organization.
- Member of a national professional nursing organization.
- ACLS certification.
