At WSP, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our PMCM Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Resident Engineer with daily activities, including writing change orders, pay estimates, and running weekly meetings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Resident Engineer in making field construction decisions related to change in conditions and field directives.
  • Maintain accurate construction documentation, including records of materials, requests for approval, and DBE paperwork.
  • Document construction activities, including preparing daily work activity reports and tracking items installed on the project.
  • Monitor material tracking from approval to installation.
  • Exercise responsible decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and policies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

About You:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of related experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).
  • You possess fundamental knowledge of codes, standards, and materials.
  • You are able to work individually on a construction site with minimal support.
  • You have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • You have a proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adhering to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies.
