We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing major correctives on a wide variety of wind turbine platforms/brands.
Key Responsibilities- Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with wind turbine systems, using process of elimination to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- At least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical troubleshooting maintenance role.
- A safety-focused mindset and a positive attitude, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify solutions to complex issues.
