Anesthesia Technician Role

Texas Health Resources is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician. Are you the right fit?

Location: Texas Health Resources

Work Schedule: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift

Essential Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory

Experience:

  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Licenses and Certifications:

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required prior to independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly

Responsibilities:

  • Assist anesthesia providers during routine and emergency surgical procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Support anesthesia staff in preparing the surgical environment and necessary equipment for patient treatment.
  • Ensure patient and personal safety by adhering to departmental protocols, maintaining a sterile setting, and comprehending equipment operations.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals to enhance the delivery of anesthesia services. Ensure cleanliness and functionality of anesthesia equipment and work areas.
  • Provide daily technical support and troubleshoot equipment issues. Assist Anesthesiologists with relevant software.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental and hospital KPIs related to patient outcomes, satisfaction, financial performance, and community health.
